Since 2015, each year CUUATS has successfully held a variety of public events with extensive materials available. During these events, CUUATS staff facilitated conversations and activities on facilities and benefits of the different modes of transportation in the region.
In 2019, CUUATS held a total number of 15 public events on educating residents about the different transportation modes, facilities, and benefits in the community. The events included public presentations, public workshops, and public review period for the plans CUUATS authored, as well as welcome stations at schools and employment centers on active transportation events, as listed in the table below. Approximately 60 percent of 2019 public events were associated with the Long Range Transportation Plan update.
